Today Melbourne, Brooklyn and I made a google drawing of how we could reflect on what we needed to work on for our Kawa of care.

Touch Typing.

This year I have been tracking my touch typing. It's a good learning site for typing. Something I need to work is making sure I always put a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence. 

Maths DLO.

Today I was learning to use data to predict outcomes and find outcomes using tree diagrams. For finding outcomes using tree diagrams I learnt to follow each branch of the diagram from left to right recording each outcome and for using data to predict outcomes  I learnt that data you collect can be used to make predication about a group or a population or anything the data's about. I found this task a little bit hard to begin with but as I worked through it it got easier. Something I need to work on is making sure I write down the questions before I write the answers. My question for you is why do you have to follow each branch for the diagram from left to right?

Tongan Language Week.

My maths DLO.

This week I have been learning to display dot plot graphs. Did you know data can be organised using a dot plot graph, without having to draw a tally chart. I found this task quite easy to work with. Something I need to work on is making sure I label each axis on the dot plot chart. Why does data have to be organised using a dot plot graph?

"Jodie" Simple, Compound, Complex Sentences.

Today I learnt to write simple, compound and complex sentences. I found the task easy. Something I need to work on is making sure I put full stops and the end of a sentence. Something I would wanna learn more about is complex different to Compound.

The History of Phone's through innovation and change.

This term I have been learning about The history of Innovation and change. My topic was phones. The Learning object was to find something from the past and write the history of phones through innovation and change. I found this task quite easy to begin with. Something I need to work on is making sure I reread my work. I would like to know more about why Alexander Graham Bell (which was the person who invented a phone) came up with an idea to make telephones.
