The History of Phone's through innovation and change.

This term I have been learning about The history of Innovation and change. My topic was phones. The Learning object was to find something from the past and write the history of phones through innovation and change. I found this task quite easy to begin with. Something I need to work on is making sure I reread my work. I would like to know more about why Alexander Graham Bell (which was the person who invented a phone) came up with an idea to make telephones.

Time series graph.

This week for math's I have been learning to create a time series graph. The Learning object was to create a time series graph. If you do make a time series graph you should have a Title, A title for the x and y axis and remember to label the important information categories. I found this task quite easy to begin with. Something I need to work on is Making sure I understand the task that I work on. I would like to know more about why we have to be consistent collecting data.




 

Math's Digital learning object.

This term I have been learning to use a rule to make a number sequence as in given a rule written in words, a number sequence can be created. Remember that the numbers of  sequence can be called terms. I found this task a little bit challenging but it was something new to learn. I think I need to work on learning more about making a number sequence as in giving a rule written in words. I would like to know more about why you have to use a rule to make a number sequence.

Procedure writing.

Today For writing my class and I were doing procedure writing.
LO: (Learning Object) was to write a procedure for getting the T.v onto Netflix.

Rocket demonstration at Wesley Primary.

Today the class and I walked to Wesley Primary to do a demonstration about rocket's with room 3 & 4 . We had to explain the Newtons three laws. Mr walker had to try explain it in a easy way just in case some of the students didn't know what it meant. Some of the students from each class got to pump and the other person had to pull the string that was connected with a peg to the plastic bottle. After That we walked back to School. I Liked working with room 3 & 4 because it was nice getting to know the students and having fun while doing the demonstration with room 3 & 4.

Today Jayden came into my class and talked about how we can make good decisions with your money. Jayden talked about how he always bought him a coffee at a cafe after work and also did work while he was at the cafe. He was telling us how we could safe more money instead of buying coffees every single day after work. 

Then he split us in 3 groups and played a game. He gave every group $1,800 for the game we were playing. We had to pay for passports, Fights, Accommodation, Insurance, Food, Shop and Activity. We also could decide if we wanted to pay with cash or credit card. 

After the game we had a talk with our groups about if we liked playing the game and talked about what we learnt about making good decisions with our money. Thank you Jayden for coming on our class and talking about making good decisions with money.

LO: Write a recount about your holiday.

In the holiday my mum, sister, step dad and me went to my game fro rugby. I played for Richmond under 13 girls. We were versing Mangere east girls. We did some warmups before the game. Sadly we had to play in the the rain and strong winds it was sad because we lost our first game. The score was 20/26.

On saturday my family and i went to my uncle's house. My cousin and I were playing fortnite while the grown ups were having a party and getting drunk. That we ended up sleeping over.

On sunday my family and i went to my papas for lunch. When we got there we sat down and waiting for the food to be made. There was not WIFI there so we had watch T.V As my uncle went to go get some hot chips. When he came back we walked to the kitchen and dished our food and then my cousins, siblings and I did a little thing before we ate the food.
