Summary of the ocean.

Today I was learning to understand how data is collected and used. Our success criteria was: Collected data is collected using tally charts or frequency, And there are two types of data. The two types of data are qualitative and quantitative. Hope you like my DLO (Digital learning object) 

Pink Shirt Dayy!!

Pink Shirt Day Is National Anti bullying day. It's were people & Students from schools dress up in pink to stand up to bulliesWhy is it important? It's important because if there was a person bullying someone they might feel these things sad, useless, scared, Insecure, angry and depression. If someone is already feeling depressed they might do something bad to themselves or maybe harm themselves in a bad way.   If your getting bullied by someone you could use these tips ->  You could talk to someone close to you like family members, Bestfriends, or a teacher your comfortable with.  Thank you for reading my opinion of what Pink shirt day (National Anti Bullying Day) is. This is my DLO (Digital Learning Object) I made for making sensible estimates. The Sc (Success Criteria) is Identify the numbers, Make an equation, Round numbers to the nearest ten, and Solve it out. I found this quite easy.

Our D.L.O

Today My class and I made a DLO about our Presentation Reflection.  Brooklyn, Melbourne, Jamie and Me worked On this together. Our Learning Object was to Reflect on our presentation, what worked what didn't work and what we need to look at for next time. Today Melbourne, Brooklyn and I made a google drawing of how we could reflect on what we needed to work on for our Kawa of care.

Touch Typing.

This year I have been tracking my touch typing. It's a good learning site for typing. Something I need to work is making sure I always put a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence. 

Maths DLO.

Today I was learning to use data to predict outcomes and find outcomes using tree diagrams. For finding outcomes using tree diagrams I learnt to follow each branch of the diagram from left to right recording each outcome and for using data to predict outcomes  I learnt that data you collect can be used to make predication about a group or a population or anything the data's about. I found this task a little bit hard to begin with but as I worked through it it got easier. Something I need to work on is making sure I write down the questions before I write the answers. My question for you is why do you have to follow each branch for the diagram from left to right?

Tongan Language Week.

Today My class and I learnt some Tongan words for Tongan language week. This is a video of student's and Me singing the alphabet. Hope you enjoy/

My maths DLO.

This week I have been learning to display dot plot graphs. Did you know data can be organised using a dot plot graph, without having to draw a tally chart. I found this task quite easy to work with. Something I need to work on is making sure I label each axis on the dot plot chart. Why does data have to be organised using a dot plot graph?

"Jodie" Simple, Compound, Complex Sentences.

Today I learnt to write simple, compound and complex sentences. I found the task easy. Something I need to work on is making sure I put full stops and the end of a sentence. Something I would wanna learn more about is complex different to Compound.

The History of Phone's through innovation and change.

This term I have been learning about The history of Innovation and change. My topic was phones. The Learning object was to find something from the past and write the history of phones through innovation and change. I found this task quite easy to begin with. Something I need to work on is making sure I reread my work. I would like to know more about why Alexander Graham Bell (which was the person who invented a phone) came up with an idea to make telephones.

Time series graph.

This week for math's I have been learning to create a time series graph. The Learning object was to create a time series graph. If you do make a time series graph you should have a Title, A title for the x and y axis and remember to label the important information categories. I found this task quite easy to begin with. Something I need to work on is Making sure I understand the task that I work on. I would like to know more about why we have to be consistent collecting data.




 

Math's Digital learning object.

This term I have been learning to use a rule to make a number sequence as in given a rule written in words, a number sequence can be created. Remember that the numbers of  sequence can be called terms. I found this task a little bit challenging but it was something new to learn. I think I need to work on learning more about making a number sequence as in giving a rule written in words. I would like to know more about why you have to use a rule to make a number sequence.
